Talk:Subclass

Basically, I can agree with the direction of editing this page. There are almost all of necessary. I'm gonna note some points which I think it should be improved.

1. The basic statistic --- I guess the editor meant "status" not statistics

--- To show the difference by the base status clearly, I think it's better compair from 1 class combo. For example, OL/DE or DE/OL.

2. "- Finish the Dragon Network Subclass (as discribed above) quest while being on your retail profession." I actually did the DN subclass quest by the retail subclass and later, I added the DN sub on the main class. It's done with a horn from the quest(not the tradeble one.) So I think it doesn't matter if its done by retail or main.

3. Unify the notation of the terms into the one used commonly in game. Like profession > class

--- Relating this, Here "main class" is used as the base class to add the DN sub. But main class also can be read as original class. In this case, this is miss-read. So I recommend to use "base class" when we write about the class with the DN subclass. This is related to the next point.

4. This one is just to make it more easy to refer all contents by changing the oder of sections to like

==Types==
===Retail subclass===
===Dragon-Network subclass===
==Changing Base class==
===Base status===
==Dragon-Network subclass quest==
(==Retail subclass quest==)
==Mutants==

or better

==Types==
===Retail subclass===
put the link to the guide for retail subclass quest
===Dragon-Network subclass===
put the link to the guide for Dragon-Network subclass quest
==Changing Base class==
===Base status===
==Mutants==

5. Section "Mutants" -- It's really hard to explain how-to-make-mutant easier but this should be improved.

I'm gonna edit this page according to those points but it's still on the starting so feel free to roll back/edit again. Thanks.

I did mean statistics, and i'm the one who created the page. DEX, WIT, etc are base statistics and are not difined by the word "status". About the editing of the quest, i agree. Never tought of the fact that its also possible to take the quest while being on your retail class. But i guess it matters what class you're on once you finish it right?

I'm not doubting or denying what you want to write by the word "statistics". I searched about this word in 3 sites(Wikipedia/2 dictionaries on web) but I couldn't find any relation between statistical matters and status like STR/DEX/CON etc.

Please make sure the meaning of statistics again or make your statistical opinion clear to the users of DNwiki.

About the quest, yes it matters of course when putting the DN subclass. I just mentioned that it doesn't matter if we take the quest/kill the cow by main class or retail subclass.

Nevermind, you were right. I just checked Lineage2.com and they use status as a definetion of WIT, DEX, STR etc as well. Personally I tought "status" refered to the class. So i was wrong, my bad..
